Actually, the Teach Yourself company has a book/cassette set for
the Irish Gaellic as well as the Scottish that was mentioned above. So you
have your choice! I own the Irish one, but unfortunately I haven't had time
to delve into it (too many hobbies; too little time!) so I can't comment on
effectiveness!
The info for the Irish one is :
ISBN 0-8442-3800-7
at a cost of about $30 Canadian for the book and tape. I ordered it through
a bookstore here in Calgary, and it took about 2 weeks, and because they
brought it in with other books, I didn't have to pay shipping.
