Hi, Therese. I believe the tune Kim Robertson calls the Aran Boat Song=20
to be a traditional Gaelic rowing song, but I have no record of the=20
words.=20

A 19th century song called Queen Mary's Escape (a romantic song about the=
=20
lady's escape from Loch Leven Castle) is set to the tune. You should be=20
able to locate it in any Victorian anthology.

Calum Kennedy years ago recorded The Arran Boat Song (in English), but=20
the tune is very different from the one you mention.
