Snobbery is the last thing we need, from either side. One of the things I
like about the harp list is that it is so egalitarian. I get plenty of
snobbery in my work with classical guitarists and especially violinists.
(BTW, did you know that Strad made both guitars and harps, as well as
fiddles?)

I would counsel all dissatisfied lurkers to either contribute or ask a
question, instead of just complaining that they aren't getting the
information that they want. Everybody knows something that I don't. If you
have found some really great technique/music/product/etc., for heaven's sake
tell us! Alternatively, if you are up against the wall, ask; I'd bet somebody
out there has the answer, or at least, an amusing opinion. This has worked
for the Guild of American Luthiers, and should work here, too.
