I'm not sure declawing kittens will prevent them from messing with your harp.

I have to keep my harp in our bedroom (where we don't allow the kitties),
because my cats like try to play the strings with their teeth and they stick
their heads into the holes in the soundbox. It wouldn't take much effort from
them to knock the harp over either, though the resulting sound might keep them
away from it forever!

Though keeping the harp in the bedroom means it isn't "ready" anytime I want to
play, it keeps me from worrying about what potential harp damage is occurring.
