You asked if there is anything interesting happening in Vancouver from July
12 to July 12th.
You will be too early for the Vancouver Folk Festival (July 19th-21st) and
the nearby Mission Folk Music Festival (July 26th-28th) and Islands Folk
Festival on Vancouver Island (July 26-28). However, the Harrison Festival
of the Arts at Harrison Hot Springs (not too far away) is taking place
from July 6 - July 14. The information I have says "Theatre; Art Exhibits;
Music and Dance;... Contact: Harrison Festival Society, Box 399, 160
Esplanade, Harrison Hot Springs, B.C. V0M 1K0. Phone: 604-796-3664." I
haven't been to it, but I know there has been folk music and some harp music
there in the past.
There are usually a lot of plays, concerts, etc. going on all the time in
Vancouver.
