I too use MusicTime 2.0. I got it because, with my new interest in harp, I
needed to do bass staff as well as treble. (My prior program, ABC2Win, only
does treble.) MusicTime may have shortcomings, but I understand it's easier
than most to use. AND for a limited time, the CD only version is available
(but not for Macs) is only $29!! (If you need the floppies, the include both
cd and disks for $49.) Can't beat that. If anyone is interested, you can
get it from 1-800-EGG-HEAD. I think that price is only as long as supplies
last so they may be out of them. (I know Egghead's web site had already run
out.)
Of course when I bought the program the biggest thing that drew me was the
price. After getting it, I decided that in order to use the full potential
of the program, my computer without a soundcard needed to be replaced. So I
bought a multi-media system. Now I'm thinking I need a midi keyboard. In the
end, this program is going to be considerably more costly than I'd intended.
