If it doesn't look like number 2 you're going to be in therapy for your knees
eventually since you'll be putting undue stress on them by shoving them off to the
side. You can't sit squarely with your body-parts aligned if you want the harp to be
running down your right leg. It's cocked to the center so that your knees support the
sides of the harp. This seems to be the usual playing position, except for Kyle
(certain members of this list would have difficulty playing higher notes if we placed
the harp as he does, certain, ahh, appendages tend to get in the way).
