Keep in mind though, that most musicians on casual gigs do not want to pay
performance dues to their union local. It might be a good idea to use the AFM
contract as a model, using only the clauses that you deem important for your
work. However the union rules call for all AFM members to register each and
every contract and pay a portion of each fee into the collective coffers.
