I got off the phone a little while ago with Patrick Ball. He has
just joined us on-line and is thoroughly tickled with the net and his new
computer.
Patrick mentioned that he won the 1996 Naird Award for Best
Spoken Word recording last weekend for his recording "Storyteller"
reviewed by Barra Jacob-McDowell in this summer's Folk Harp Journal.
Being in real life the humble and self-effacing guy he appears to be on
stage, it wouldn't occur to him toot his own horn about it. So I will! :)
